Sabine Herold and the Liberal Alternative strike me nevertheless as well-intentioned people who still have a lot to learn, which is due to the fact that their attraction to neo con thinking doesn't scratch the surface and that they don't seem to have developed genuinely strong ties with the English speaking world. They have yet to really break free from French cultural and linguistic isolation and to connect to the Anglospherean world of thought. Sadly enough, very few French are at that stage, even among those living in the US or other English-speaking countries.
