Oh, and the game wardens didn't trap anything, wildlife services the real professionals were responsible for the real action that mitigated the situation. game wardens told people not to worry lions were native to the area, as if they didn't know, and one may have given out beanbag bullets. It was a game warden that wounded the lion though.

However, it isn't true that robert was bathing outside, the game and fish are just saying that to justify his death and the fact that they knew there was serious lion activity including stalking for at least a week and they chose to do nothing. Robert was probably washing up in his camper when he heard something and went outside.
His door was open, his water was on, his false teeth were on the table.

The lion was found shortly after and killed. My brother is a Game Warden in NM who assisted in trapping the animal. They also trapped another lion, a black bear, and a lady on a horse... no joke. Guess she couldn't read the warning signs posted!

The man lived in a mobile home; this is a sign that he suffered from a suicidal condition normally taken care of by tornado activity. lol
