Alarmists scream about climate change but this has been going on since before humans arrived. What they never present is the conclusive evidence that humans are responsible. Images of melting glaciers are evidence of climate change, not evidence that CO2 is the cause. But most people don't recognize this huge difference. So as a result of this non-recognition, we're going to create this new carbon trading industry to fight a non-existant threat, a few people will become mind boglingly wealthy (eg Al Gore), and governments can use the excuse of carbon emissions to place tariffs on imported goods. Everybody wins, right? And in the future, if CO2 is proved to be innocent beyond any doubt, Cap&Trade will still remain, it will never be dismantled. Once we have this thing we will never be rid of it. Come election time, I'm voting for whomever is against Cap&Trade, I don't care what party they represent. I know I'm not alone. I'm pissed off!
