So many of them are deluded in the mistaken belief that they possess something that might justify their arrogance. It is gratifying that Dr. Chase would recognize one of today's academic predicaments--and be willing to write about it, because dealing with some of the preeminent prima donas of our time can be hazardous to one's health. Self-inflicted wounds are often the most damaging of all, and multiculturalism, with it's attendant nonsense, has played a role in it.
