Dan was a special person.He ate fresh clams in my home on long island and sent me a clam knife and a work knife for the bay and for camping.I still wear it today.I ate elk with Dan at his home in CO,slept in the work shop and in the back of my truck.We laughed and talked military, past adventures, smoked and drank a bit.I stayed for 3 days and moved across the country to reconnect.I will always remember him.I missed his Christmas card this year2011. Neil Lindsay’s knife is in my right front pocket and is a constant reminder of Dan D.

“We Republicans and conservatives ought to be filled with optimism and resolve at a point in history when it is clear that we are going to have an opportunity to change the country’s direction for the better, but instead we seem to have no leadership, no principles, no really satisfactory candidates, and no class. We clearly have too damn many slime mold professional campaign operators, too many spiteful and grudge-bearing has-beens, and too little genuine leadership.”

When the RNC called me recently asking for money, this is almost exactly what I told them. I’m not confident that ANYONE in the RNC actually “gets” that there is no leadership in the whole organization. I may vote Republican, but it’s usually while holding my nose. I’m sick of always having to “choose the lesser evil”. Why can’t we have a candidate who actually stands for something???

This phenomenal suite never looked better than in the BluRay edition of N by NW when viewed on a good HDTV! Detail of the plaid is exquisite. For years I stupidly thought I was the only one in love with this suit. If I had a dollar for every blank stare I’ve gotten from salesmen at designer men’s stores in Manhattan and elsewhere when asking about a close match…well, could have a duplicate made. Perhaps that’s the key. The suit pursuit continues.

Dear Sirs:

sadly, the US judicial system is very politicized, extremely vindictive and fundamentally flawed in almost every respect. The case against Black is a classic example of the abuse of the judicial system and how an innocent person can be destroyed, harassed and bankrupted for refusing to agree to a totally spurious “plea bargain” because he won’t admit to a crime he hasn’t committed! Black got shafted by Judge Posner in Chicago who to flatter his own ego ignored a unanimous decision of the US Supreme Court and sent Black back to prison on a technicality which only made the gross injustice already committed even worse. This case and many others like it are a total travesty and a disgrace for American “justice”.
