What do you think is the problem with expressing contempt and defiance of Islam and Jihad at the present time? It seems a very appropriate time to me.

Hirohito was not personally responsible, but Japan did wage aggressive war in Asia, and deliberately attacked the United States, intending the most perfunctory notice prior to the opening of hostilities. Japanese incompetence resulted in no warning preceding the attacks. The war waged by Japan was filled with brutality and what the civilized West regards as atrocities. Large numbers of Americans were killed in a war started by Japan, and we successfully reduced Japan to absolute prostration. Your view seems to suppose that we were supposed to treat Japanese culture, government, and institutions with respect. Most Americans of the WWII generation were surprised by the mildness and consideration with which MacArthur governed Japan. It is generally observed that Hirohito and most Japanese appreciated the moderation of MacArthur’s rule and the reforms introduced to Japan at America’s hands produced a prosperous and democratic society and a generally enthusiastic US ally.

I was obliged to delete your lengthier reply, because it was filled with obscenities. It was also lacking in substance, and had nothing in particular to do with the posting to which it was attached.

This one, too, is completely devoid of content, but at least it gives me a chance to comment on the incongruity of someone with your views calling himself “Hunter S. Thompson.”

What has always puzzled me, is
a) Why did it take so long for the press to work this one out?
b) Why did the Conservatives never complain that there was the most outrageous Gerrymandering going on, which amounted to the worst national scandal we had ever seen?
c) Why did so many people in high places, and of powerful status, refuse to support Enoch Powell, and say openly that he was absolutely right?
d) Why, over the last 40 years, did so many people, in politically powerful positions, so tamely and meekly succumb to all the emotional blackmail and chicanery wrapped up in this wretched word – this wretched American import – i.e the word “Racism”.

The word means nothing, when ordinary, modest-income, working-class people find themselves being pushed out of their own cities by massive influxes of immigrants, whom they simply do not want. They look on in despair as whole neighbourhoods are taken over by incomers, as house-prices soar because of greatly increased pressure of demand. Then they become totally bewildered when the very people that they expected to protect from all this, simply snipe & sneer at them, and shout “Shut up and stop being Racist”.

The answer to all these puzzles is all about MONEY. All the politicians ever wanted was plenty of Arab OIL MONEY in the City of London, and plenty of rich “Asian” Businessmen paying lots of money into Labour Party funds.

The general British Public were subjected to the most massive, most scandalous con-trick there ever was, through the use of emotional blackmail and the word “Racism”.
James Callaghan (that “nice” guy) was the worst of the original offenders; and the whole Labour Party has followed his treacherous lead ever since. They were all so desperate for power-at-any-price, that they were more than ready to sell our children’s & grandchildren’s future, in a politically & socially stable, historically single-nation country – in return for temporary power & status for themselves.

Ironically, the very section of society whose interests they claimed to represent, (the working classes of no great power or status) were the very ones whom they let down very badly.

When will these dopes realize that they are wild animals? One poor woman has to go through life blind and disfigured because her friend thought it wise to keep a fully grown chimpanzee.

And in one simple sentence, that police officer expresses everything that is wrong with public life in America today. Everything that Congress, the President, and the state legislatures do, seems to be aimed at eliminating the need or use of common sense by replacing it with laws to regulate and control every situation imaginable.

After regaining consciousness from laughing so hard that I ran out of oxygen…

I mean…c’mon…there’s no denying that we Amercans can be violent…and when we want to be, we’re pretty damned good at being violent; but Europe – being more civilized than the US? The whole continent was a disease riddled meat grinder up until the last 60 years or so.

Some serious “historian” needs to add up all those war dead over the centuries and come up with an honest rate for slaughter. I don’t expect the US to come out all shiny from such a comparison either, but 2 per 100K per year seems…either wishful thinking or downright fiction.
