1938 Talbot-Lago T150 C SS Teardrop Coupe
Automobile Magazine picks the 25 most beautiful cars of all time.
And AutoMotoPortal offers a list of 10.
The goute d’eau (drop of water) shaped Talbot Lago coupe, the E-type Jaguar, and (inevitably) the Gull-winged Mercedes-Benz 300SL made both lists.

The only one more beautiful than that Talbot Lago was the rather similar Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic.
I’ll give the 300 SL Gullwing my vote too but I’m not a fan of the E Type. Pretty enough but not in the same class, and with Lucas “Prince of Darkness” electrics that made it lucky if you got out of the driveway. One Massachusetts friend was so frustrated by his second, a roadster, which I coveted, that he considered making it into an anchor for his sailboat.
