I think that there is another factor beyond culture. China puts tens of thousands of their people in other countries as spies and “sleepers”. The Chinese know what their government is doing, especially those who are so close to China that they speak Chinese as their first language like this woman. While she herself may not be a spy/plant/sleeper she is most certainly aware that our country is overrun with them and this gives her the confidence to do what she did. It would be interesting to know how many Chinese in our country secretly applaud this woman for what she did.
