If you aren’t in the business working with these people you would simply believe there was over hiring for some reason. The truth is much darker and likely criminal. What has happened is that H1B employees have taken over the hiring process to insure more and more H1B workers from their country. Friends, relatives and just people who paid under the table for a golden ticket to the U.S. A good job and citizenship. The H1B and related foreign hiring schemes rivals the illegal immigration in numbers but is more hidden. Once they get control inside a company it is almost impossible for an American to get hired. This scam should be investigated.

I saw this firsthand in the late nineties. “Dot Com” companies spent and hired with absolutely no rationale plan in mind. Then in 2000, it all came crashing down.
