Virginia Senator Jim Webb wouldn’t sign on as Barack Obama’s running mate, but he’s willing to overlook the obvious major differences between Obama’s ultra-liberal positions and his own in order to endorse, and assure us that he trusts, Obama. He trusts Obama even to defend the Second Amendment, he says.

On what possible basis, Senator Webb? Barack Obama has the most leftwing voting record of any senator. Obama scores to the left of socialist Bernie Saunders. His gun control record is impeccable. He’s a 100% supporter of Gun Control.
And Obama isn’t only endorsed by you, he’s endorsed by the Brady Campaign.
Senators Barack Obama and Joseph Biden know that we make it too easy for dangerous people to get dangerous weapons in this country. They know that our weak gun laws have too many loopholes, which lead to over 30,000 deaths and 70,000 injuries from guns every year.

Jim Webb’s word to gun owners and Virginians clearly is not worth very much. He really has become a democrat. Shame on Webb.

I read your web site because of its header quote. But I was pleased to see that someone else is appalled at Jim Webb’s political stances. I actually care more about his being in the pocket of organized labor, than anything else, but there are so many ways in which he is out of sync with Virginia voters. Trouble is, that message isn’t getting out and it is hell to unseat an incumbent.

Questioin for Senator Jim Webb, a/k/a Great White Hunter. Where the hell did you ever get the idea that the second amendment is about “hunting rights”? I’ve read the Constitution including the Second Amendment. It doesn’t say one thing about hunting or sport shooting, so why are you worried about Obama taking guns from hunters? You should be worried that he is taking guns from citizens, and he fully intends to do just that given his first opportunity which will probably come in the form of a national crisis involving gun violence on the Mexican border. Jim, you supported Obama, a man you KNEW was a communist from day one. We got a rope for you too Jimbo. We’re just waiting for election day 2010.
