Barack Obama experienced publicly one of those handwriting-on-the-wall moments when he encountered Velma R. Hart, AMVETS Chief Financial Officer, at a Town Hall meeting in Washington.

“I’m one of your middle class Americans. And quite frankly, I’m exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for,” Hart told President Obama at a town hall.
