I was standing next to this obstacle all day working as a jump judge for the trials.

Great shot, Karen! :) I used to volunteer with my sister on the cross country course at the Rolex, but haven’t had that opportunity for quite a few years now. My sister took up riding/teaching dressage, so those shows take up most of her time now. :)

Part of the fun of being placed at the “last jump” was that we could hear all the cries of relief and glee, and all the “good girl!” praises and pats on the neck.
