Michal Kleofas Oginski (1765-1833) was a Lithuanian Prince, by virtue of lineal descent from Rurik, founder of the Kievian Russian state. He commanded a regiment of riflemen during the Kościuszko Insurrection of 1794 which attempted to resist the Second Partition of Poland-Lithuania.
