This has been a radical left wing wetdream for years. And by radical left wing I mean many of the communist and pro-communist groups that hide behind the Democrat/socialist label. Why do you suppose communist Americans would want to disarm the U.S. Hmmmm! Let’s look at the example of Ukraine and before them Georgia. This is what a 2nd rate military encourages. It is hard to know what the difference would be in the Ukraine today if a fully mobilized military met those Russian troops at the border but it wouldn’t have been the cakewalk we all saw. But let’s not forget that Russia first installed a Russian puppet as president of the Ukraine to weaken the country and set them up for this. But then, don’t we have a president that was “installed”?
