I have for my entire life resisted the idea that some extra-constitutional remedy must be employed to “save us”. Usually the person suggesting such a thing was a radical leftist or right wing loon. But I fear it’s over and the only thing that could or could have saved us would be a massive and perhaps violent uprising. Something that results in a public execution of politicians and big players/cronies. It won’t happen of course and therefore I fear we are done. The great American experiment is over and now we will simply have to allow it all to play out until we are all left without a doubt that it’s over.
