In fairness, Trump has pulled off an incredible feat. He babbles like an idiot (and much of the populace) so often that it is almost impossible for those attuned to more carefully considered rhetoric to ridicule any particular Trumpism. Last night I heard Debby Wasserman trying to dis Trump three times for his “penis talk”. In the scheme of things, that is no more shocking than his incoherent positions on trade and H1 visas, so it fell flat. Poor Debbie.
