In 1978 a friend told me about a book called “The Anarchist Cookbook”. I was intrigued so I went to my local bookstore and ordered it. When it came in they notified me and I went in to pay for it. Honest to god I though they were going to call the police. The people working there were upset and outraged that such a book existed and that someone actually bought it. I expected them to throw me out of the store they were so upset. This was a BOOK store!! And they wanted to burn that book.
