And then there’s Al Franken, for whom there is NO DOUBT about what he did. He still has his seat, while Roy Moore, about whom there is at least some doubt, should lose his.

The ability of the Houses of Congress to control who they will seat is very limited. The Supreme Court forced the House to seat Adam Clayton Powell despite his overt corruption.
