Legally any citizen in the U.S. can film/video anything that can be seen from public property. You will often here of efforts by police and others to stop them but it is legal. This is my primary reason for questioning those who object to cameras in public places. Anyone using the internet today has seen numerous examples of cameras being used to catch and convict criminal activity. This is good, right?

“Criminal”, of course is a matter of perspective. If the government will not take care of them a$$holes messing with your people but will prosecute those who “discourage” those messing, you have to do what you have to do. Kind of like the streetlights downtown.

No body has a “bazooka” except the war museum. RPGs are a dime a dozen, however. And everyone needs the target practice. Makes a nice “warning sign” for the bad boys, don’t you think?
