When I worked for the President’s office in the 1970s, I had a number of occasions to visit 43 Hillhouse Ave. Once I took note of the books that Kingman Brewster kept on a shelf in his john. One was Richard Bissell’s ‘You Can Always Tell a Harvard Man.’ Entertaining reading, though I did not partake of it then and there.
