Kind of like “Escape from New York”(or Chicago, or Baltimore, or most any Democraticly ruled city). The cities are being bled by their corrupt masters. The cities, which are obsolete relics of 19th Century rail, and steamboat, travel and primitive communication technology, produce nothing but since they have “votes”, they can demand tribute. Now that the Democrats have modern “machine” votes, the cities are just an expensive burden. Maybe they can figure out a way to get grift from the new population that they are importing. It worked in Compton (Calif.).
