It is all mental illness OR grifters trying to benefit from the mental illness. I think for some there is a special joy they take in rubbing this craziness in the face of people who they don’t like or disagree with.

To answer her first question, yes the overwhelming majority of humanity likes it this way. To answer her other questions, not yet. Sometime in the future, maybe. By then it just be a novelty. Just like EVs are now.
