Regional Term for Soft Drinks

Different parts of the United States use different generic terms for soft drinks.

One Feedback on "Regional Term for Soft Drinks"

As a former resident of Cambridge, Mass., I could not help but note that the map-makers left out TONIC. Tonic! And as Doug Kenney liked to point out, they serve(d) it warm, without ice.

Eminently more suitable as a generic word for fizzy drinks, than ‘Cokes’, which seems to be mostly popular in those regions where haute cuisine is an evening at Cracker Barrel.
