Catherine Howard, 5th wife of Henry VIII (c.1520 – executed 13 February 1542)
Second annual contest for humorous modification (via Photoshop) of famous art works into contemporary ads.
At first, visiting the page do guarantees you a good slice of fun. Past this first feeling you’ll notice that some of these adds are extreme in the sense that they arouse some questions regarding ethics in advertising; before it calls for a more serious and interesting debate on the theme of deterrence in information warfare, meaning, for example: “If you manage to let published that one on the theme of crucifixion, then I’ll undermine your set of cultural values too with those ones made by Picasso, or even worse.”
Quite interesting examples anyway.
