Car in front of me had a bumper sticker on it. It read: “Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8.†When I got home I opened my bible to the scripture and read it and started laughing. Psalm 109:8 –“Let his days be few and brief; And let others step forward to replace him.†At last –I can voice a Biblical prayer for our president!
Let us bow our heads and pray.
The KJV reads: Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

There is a line, somewhere in the Eastern Orthodox Holy Week services, that is perhaps more blunt [I forget the exact translation, but you get the point]: “Add more evils upon them, O Lord, add more evils upon them who are in authority over the Earth!”

I have been praying for his conversion, for a change of heart. I pray that the Father will send a laborer to share the true Good News with him.
There’s still time for good to come out of the rest of his term, if Christ is in his heart.
