I’m willing to bet that NOBODY in the White House talked to anyone in the military about this before it happened. Do they not understand that desertion is a SERIOUS crime in time of war? Something for which you got a bullet in the head from your fellow soldiers? Of course not. The closest any of them have come to military service is an ROTC protest rally.
