It is a religion. If we just raise taxes high enough, if we just obstruct business enough with a deluge of regulations and laws, if we just give up our government to the UN then the climate gods will smile at us and the oppressive heat wave will end.
On another note we in the northwest have just ended what must be one of the best summers in history. Great weather. I noticed the weather for the parade was good too. But wait! I thought global warming was a crisis!
