Fine engraving, excellent Sambar stag grips, and customized for target shooting. A gentleman’s gun, rather than a ganster’s.

Yeah,I guess. The target site would make it difficult to yank that piece out of a trench coat pocket, but he hired folks to do that kind os work. The scratches on the slide are just an indication that he hadn’t met a Mehican smithy to do the plating and to stick a few polished gold coins from someplace to improve the “styling”. Maybe that was his other piece, the one he used for the lower classes that needed his personal “attention”.
Family musta moved out of Chicago. Otherwise, that would make a decent night table decoration to show to pre-dawn visitors.
