Just out today: @OhioState has a small army of 132 “diversicrats” at an avg. salary of $77,000 and total est. payroll cost of $13.4M, which would cover in-state tuition for 1,120 students.

Their job is not to increase diversity, their job is to increase whining and complaining.

They’re just, as usual, competing with Michigan, which has an even larger group of Diversicrats.

There are many greedy piglets feeding at the educational trough. I recently discovered that my college, which has 16-1700 students and a few thousand graduates has a 45 people on its fundraising and “development” staff. There is also a diversity staff but I haven’t been able to discover its size. In light of these facts (and the college’s gift of $50,000 to BLM), I ceased my substantial annual contributions to the college and removed a more substantial legacy from my estate plan. There was no point in pouring good money after bad. Education has become today’s version of the corrupt church of pre-Reformation Europe.

I am surprised its that few. We had a whole minority office, Director and staff, in the College of Engineering in the 1970’s.

On the plus side, the Director, a woman, spent most of her time running her real estate company from her school office, so she couldn’t harass us overly much.

For at least 20 years or so, candidates for faculty positions at Ohio State have had to demonstrate that they believed in the Progressive diversity dogma and that they had participated in diversity programs in the past. Nowadays they also need to present affidavits from witnesses to their actions.

A number of years ago in the early 2000’s, when I was still on the faculty, a young woman assistant professor went from one faculty to another trying to get a candidate removed from consideration because he was an evangelical Christian. She did not know the difference between fundamentalists and evangelicals, and she really didn’t care.
