a “real” SAK, this one made by Wenger in the 70’s(?), 80’s-00’s. if the small square circled had a character stamped on it, that would indicate the knife was issued to a member of the swiss nat’l militia. this one is blank, unissued.
the “87” indicates the year the knife was manufactured and I believe when it would have been issued.
